This Sunday, April 22nd, we will celebrate Earth Day. We will reflect on and share spiritual moments in nature. The service will include the Unitarian Flower Ceremony, so bring a flower if you can. If you can’t, don’t worry. I will have extras to share.

Rev Lee Marie Sanchez will lead the service. Her topic is “Humble Pie.”
Oh, how many times we have thought we had all the answers, only to have to eat a little “Humble Pie.” Humility is definitely a virtue, one that we have seen lacking in some of our highest office leaders of late, it is sad to say. If we are honest, though, many of us struggle with this one some of the time. On the other hand, when we do not embrace our own power and light, we might lose the privilege we have which could be used for the good in our own lives and in making the world a better place for all of us. Ours is a welcoming congregation and we look forward to your joining us any Sunday. “You are loved, right here and right now, just the way you are.”

“Disappointment Island” by Rev Lee Marie Sanchez
“If this is a blessing, it is certainly very well disguised,” said Winston Churchill. Nevertheless, while disappointment is usually
a difficult
experience, when we step back to see the whole picture, often it is not an isolated phenomena but something else altogether in context. Sometimes doors open where we did not know doors even existed.
Let’s look around together.
